Special thanks to naveen, ajay, pradeep and suresh for always providing me with the best customer service. You all listened patiently to my complaints and suggestions and did best to feed me with the world class DVD titles which i always hungered for.
I always had a good time dealing with Moviemart and wish you all the best for all your future endeavors. May be next year when i m back i see moviemart as big and reputed as other US online DVD movie rental services like netflix and amazon. Next year, If i think about renewing my membership, it will only be with moviemart !

I have been a very satisfied Moviemart customer and in my last 1 1/2 years of experience I found their service exceptionally good. No matter how bad weather gets Moviemart always delivered. I can recall only one instance in last 18 months when Moviemart failed to deliver because of very bad rains and road blockages, though their professional ethic took up the challenge of calling every customer to inform them of non-delivery. I wish you guys and your team all the luck!!!!! Keep it up

Moviemart.in - Online DVD rental in India - My Initial impressions
I finally decided to start with an online service for DVD rental. The neighborhood DVD rental store was too expensive with very limited collections. So just reviewed the internet for some options in India and shortlisted to the following options
BigFlix
SeventyMM
MovieMart.in
As expected with BigFlix being a Reliance company poor customer service was the de-facto standard, and the same was confirmed by the reviews which i read online. I guess BigFlix with the kind of investment being put into it may become the cheapest option, but definitely not the best in terms of Customer Service.
Regarding SeventyMM i got mixed response for the same both from my friends and the reviews posted online. I was getting a good corporate deal with seventy mm, but still getting not a too positive feedback didn't help.
Finally came moviemart.in probably the oldest DVD rental company in India (looks like a couple of years old) and not the biggest (they are based out of Delhi but i guess serve in most of the country via TNT courier). The reviews looked positive almost all over the net so I finally decided to give it a shot. I opted for the weekend plan (Currently available in NCR only) i.e. @Rs 249 i get to see eight DVD's a month and am able to borow 2 DVD's at a time making the cost at around Rs 31.25 per DVD, definitely not the cheapest but not too sky rocketing also. MY account was activated in an hour and the DVD's were delivered on that day itself.
So based on my two days experience with moviemart.in i really found their customer service to be worldclass (quite unlike any Indian company out there). in addition you can always expect prompt responses from their end and they always look eager to help the customer out. In addition they do have a decent collection of movies which definitely would keep me hooked on for the next few months.
Though it would be too early to make a judgement based on just 2 days with moviemart.in but it definitely has been a great start. Great Job moviemart.in for that. Keep it up . Would post my experience after about a month of movie watching with moviemart.in. Hopefully they would be maintaining their standards.

I found some DVD rental service provider has some restriction on time for new movie that customer can not keep DVD for more than a limited hour, its good for other who wants to watch that DVD, like me I am looking for some title but its not availble at desired time, please impliment these type of policy which helps us to enjoy the happy and PEACEFUL viewing. You should also have a link where customers can suggest a list of movies to be added in your collection. There should also be a link where customers can download an Excel file which lists all the movies in your collection arranged by categories. We can use this file to keep a local copy to search even while we are offline. It will free your bandwidth too

I wanted to see all those movies for very long but 1.5 yrs back when I was in indore (MP) , we hardly had any DVD rental services over there They used to charge 50/- per DVD per day n I used to watch movies worth Rs 1500 per month But still many of them were camera prints and they were not very much willing to take individual requests. There are certain compulsions hence I won’t be finding much time to watch movies.
It was a heavenly experience remaining associated with the Moviemart. But even good things come to an end, so has my membership with the Moviemart.
Moviemart’s ever replenishing stocks of old classics and latest movies, seldom allowed me to take a pause at it and look for alternate entertainment avenues. The consistency in it’s personalized, regular and quality service is a thing of rarity found in an entertainment company. The most convenient feature I found was that I got the movies home-delivered and picked up just at the click of the mouse and that too without any extra-charge. And lately the company came out with a very competitive pricing of its subscription schemes, which made it a win-win situation for a customer like me.

I also take this opportunity to express my total satisfaction towards the
services offered by MovieMart and appreciate the efforts that you all have
been putting in maintaining the quality of the same. The way things are
going, I am sure you need not worry about any giant crossing your way. I
have personally experienced the services of other DVD rentals (BigFlix and
SeventyMM) and, on the basis of my two years of association with MovieMart,
I can safely say that they are way behind in service, quality, collection,
etc. etc. The MovieMart excels in all the departments.
Just for example, the other day we saw Tom Alter in "Ghalib" and remembered
Naseeruddin Shah in the famous 80s TV series. And, the very next morning, I
could simply request "Mirza Ghalib" from your collection and watch it the
very evening when Sanjeev smilingly brought me the DVD. I am sure even
searching for a movie from my own collection would have taken more time.
Now, that is the quality of service that others should strive for. You have
really set an example for other services to learn and follow.

Hi, I'm from Bangalore and I've subscribed for your yearly plan of Rs.3500. This is just to inform you that I'm impressed by your proffessional service so far. The movies sent are in very good condition and TNT couriers are also very good in their promptness & professionalism. It would be great if you can stock the movies in my wishlist Previously I was a member of another online movie rental website here. I dont want to name the provider but i burned my pockets with them. The movie was not delivered on time (sometimes 2-3 weeks) and finally i closed the account but didnt receive my refundable deposit yet. Hello to all the Movie Freakers,
I always used to watch first day first show or i used to visit music store or palika pazaar and used to spend approximately between 500 - 700 rupees to get the movies of my choice however after watching them once those movies were of no use to me.
One fine day one of my friend told me about 70MM, i got the subscribtion used it for 1 year however on a scale of 1-5, 5 being the best i would rate seventymm as 1 which is worst, seventymm never delivered movie on time, they never collected movie on time, inspite of making so many complaints to the customer service number no improvement, i wrote 4-5 mails to them but they were of no use they hardly reply to the mails. They never deliver movies as per Queue, they just pick any movie which is available and deliver it, any new movie is not available with them, when questioned why - a common answer it is in rotation. Bottom Line spending 299 Rupees for a month is not worth with seventymm.
Then, came Bigflix into picture, i got myself subsribed to bigflix. No doubt Big flix was much more better then 70mm. Not even a singel day had gone when they did not delivered the movie whereas in 70 mm they never used to deliver on time. But again, bigflix dont have enough titles with them, we dont get movies of our choice on time, they randomly select the movie and delivered it and at times you dont get movie of your choice even for months. I put thoda pyaar thoda magic on top but for 1 month it did not get delivered to me. Bottom line - every day you will get movie however again it would not be delivered as per queque, and bigflix is 100 times better then 70mm.
Finally, 3 days before i got message on my cell from moviemart and i replied to them, finally i got a call from them and i subscribed without knowing anything about moviemart. Today is 3rd day of my subscribtion with Moviemart and would love to inform everyone that the service is mindblowing, the quality of dvd is superb, customer service is just beyond imagination, and the best thing which is not with either bigflix or 70mm you can select the movie of your choice and you would be aware which movie would be delivered to you today and accordingly you can make ur plans. Bottom Line I would rate 5 to Movie Mart, 3 to Bigflix and 1 to Seventymm.

Your service is really phenomal- I've now been regularly renting DVDs around 4 or 5pm and incredibly enough, taking delivery of this shipment the very next day.
This is far better than my Mumbai-based library who take at least two phone calls to respond and then deliver after 2 days- my congratulations to you and your team! The logistics must be awesome to manage sending DVDs across the country within such a narrow time window.
This is really why I'm trying my best to motivate my brother to join your library.

Man for All Seasons" - it is a classic historical film and a few years

I have observed that your "moviemart" has won my heart, by providing good kind of service to me for more than one and half year. I tried others also, but they were not around 25%, with comparision to moviemart. Only few moments were faced during such a long period, like scratches , or mishandling, but i am assuring you sir, I am only the person, which keeps goods in safe custody, and media can be played in special drive, used for this purpose, so its always safe from my side, anyway, if any loss, occured by me, I m always ready to pay.
Hope it may lead to also a good feed back and long live nature.

I hv been using Moviemart 4 almost year now. Moviemart Team knows how to satisfy there members. People who picks up customer service phone calls are the ones who cares for there members. Moviemart website is very user friendly.DVD Quality is as good as New DVD. Collection is very wide. Courier Boy never fails to deliver movie to you,no matter if the weather is bad,if it is raining outside,if there is curfew in the area you will get the movie delivered. Yes, there would be some occasion wherein you will not get movies delivered however same would be start FLASHING on the website 1 day before in advance. Also,4 that matter if there is any change in the phone numbers or any other change you get to know that once you login to www.moviemart.in. Moviemart Team believes in keeping its member updated about everything, they dont believe in keeping its members confused.
I fine day Moviemart Courier boy came at 7:30PM and also the Courier boy was not the same who used to come regularly, on being asking i get to know that the person who comes regularly had met with an accident hence different person came to deliver the movie. Another incident which is just 1 week old i.e. 30-March-09, i requested 4 the Movie RAAZ however it was not available as it was in circulation. I called customer care had a word with Naveen who promised me next day i will get the movie and the promise was fulfilled.
Above mentioned were just 2 incidents which give me a feeling that i am in secure hands, Movie Mart keep there members as there BABY and they really listen to them and care for them, and if either of the member is not Happy they dont get relaxed till the time they get to see smile on that member face.I recommend anyone & everyone can just goahead and enroll himself or herself with moviemart with closed eyes.

I wish to mention a point here.
I just went through the rental policies of Moviemart and I must say I am impressed. I have yet to see any service in the world having policies like you. However, I was first apprehensive about whether the Moviemart rental service really functioned the way the website stated. This apprehension was soon to be discarded when I read all reviews of Moviemart and the 100% recommendation that the members have given Moviemart. All the reviews speak one point unitedly - Moviemart is customer-oriented company and has excellent customer service.
I would have even chosen Moviemart, but for one reason. I mainly watch animated movies and watch them over and over again. So buying the dvds is the best option for me. BUT-
I will surely recommend you to any of my friends interested in a legal rental service. Piracy must be combatted and if there are companies like you who keep the customer in mind, then I don't see any reason why people won't choose legal movie watching options which certainly involves a better and pleasant viewing experience with the added feeling of being within the law!
Please let me know when the dvds are available, esp. Beauty And The Beast.

I am happy to say that we have now got a new DVD player which plays ALL regions, so we will not bother you anymore by asking for certain regions. We can now play all movies!
We shall not forget your special considerations in helping us in the past. No other company will do this. So thank you so very much.
We are now ready to ship back our movies and receive another shipment. Please could you arrange to have TNT pick up our movies by Tuesday morning, 9:30 am. We are leaving at this time for a trip, so hopefully they can pick up by this time so we can ship and will have received new movies by Friday.
